Martha, publisher for The Bear Facts is confused to learn that SPLOST money is being spent to enlarge our City Hall. This is tax money we all pay. I don't understand why this money is being used this way. Why can't the city use this amount in a way that really benefits all of us. (In a recreational manner, for example.) Why can't the city use their own money to enlarge that building? I'm doing some more research on SPLOST and will be printing what I learn. I believe we all have a voice in how this money is spent, since of course, we paid the taxes for it. Any comments from the audience?
