GLASS is the Georgia Library for Accessible Services.
GLASS loans FREE talking books and playing equipment, as well as Braille materials, to Georgians who are unable to read standard print materials due to vision impairments OR physical limitations that prevent them from holding or turning the pages of a printed book. The impairment may be either temporary or permanent. Residents who are certified by a medical doctor as having a reading disability also qualify for GLASS services. Materials are provided by the Library of Congress, National Library Service for the Blind & Physically Handicapped. If someone you know might qualify for GLASS services, contact the Hampton library for an application or follow this link to the GLASS website: http://www.georgialibraries.org/lib/glass.html#GLASSTEXT
